A little question I’ve been asked myself. The miraculous are suppose to be use only for good. Therefore every kwami must have a good personality trait. A kwami does not want to harm anyone or anybody. Or do they?
Its impossible for one species to have only good personalities. A species must also have some bad within them. Kwami are suppose to only use their power for good. But what if a kwami wants to go against that idea. What if that kwami wants to make the choice wheter the power must be use for good or evil? What if a kwami has an evil master and actually agrees the master actions?
What if there is a kwami who enjoys seeing others suffer?
If we have evil digimon, evil pokemon (at least in the dungeon franchise) why we can’t have evil kwami?

I think the writers wanted to make the Kwami's human-centric but with their overall character-to-partner assignment makes you think otherwise. Most realistic case, they little fuckers are cosmic leeches that travel planet to planet, lying about their origins and sucking the concept-juice from sapient species like humans! Nearly every fictional universe we create is just humanity stuck in a fight for SURVIVAL!?!?
